Black Milk, Detroit boutique store Burn Rubber and designer Upendo Taylor have teamed up to bring you the official ‘Album of the Year’ tee. This limited edition tee will be sold exclusively online at Blackmilk.biz, at Burn Rubber and at shows throughout Black’s upcoming European tour. The press and fans have been raving about Black’s live show with AB and Daru, so Europe is in for a real treat. Tour kicks off in Copenhagen on October 14. Full tour schedule below.
Shout out to everyone who came through to support Black at his Album of the Year release party in his home town of Detroit. Nearly 800 people packed St. Andrews to see him rock the house along with Daru Jones, AB, Will Sessions and Melanie Rutherford. Words cannot express the magnitude of this event, so be on the lookout for the amazing photos and video that we’ll be posting here in the next few days.
The few “Welcome (Gotta Go)” and “Deadly Medley” tees remaining are available on Black’s online store, as well as the limited edition, clear Album of the Year double vinyl. Shout out to the lovely lady who purchased the last vinyl we had for sale at the release party. Be sure to get yours here before they sell out everywhere.
Pre-order a hard copy of the release you’ve been waiting for: Album Of The Year. Once again, art direction and design was handled by Mario Butterfield for Skinnyboysgraphix, but with quite a bit of input from Black Milk himself.
The CD will be slickly-packaged in a limited-edition embossed digipak on brushed aluminum stock. You have to see it to believe it.
The 2-LP Vinyl edition comes in an embossed jacket with a code for a free digital download of the album. Vinyl heads may also want a copy of the 12″ single for “Welcome (Gotta Go).”
